Ahmad Faisal from Aligarh Muslim University developed a new non-linear regression model and a Group Method of Data Handling model to predict sediment removal efficiency in settling basins. The study verified existing relationships and found them to produce widely varied and inaccurate predictions. The GMDH model was determined to be more accurate than the regression model, with a key sensitivity parameter identified as the ratio of particle fall velocity to average flow velocity.
Scottish marine species and habitat records collated into a geodatabase for the waters adjacent to Scotland. Records are attributed with their qualification as protected features within the Scottish Marine Protected Area network. The dataset is provided by the Scottish Government via SpatialData.gov.scot and was last updated in April 2026.
ANARE Voyage 7 in 1993 conducted a geoscience program on the Mac. Robertson Shelf and Prydz Bay. This record from the Australian Ocean Data Network presents preliminary results, including location information for gravity cores and grab samples. It also lists subsamples taken by associated research programs.
AGSO's North Pilbara Project was a joint effort with the Western Australia Geological Survey conducted under the National Geoscience Mapping Accord between 1995 and 2000. The work aimed to document differences between late and early-mid Archaean mineral systems and develop regional thematic synthesis datasets. These datasets and research into new exploration tools assist exploration in the Pilbara and have applications to other terranes.
A case study using 481.25 square miles of poststack, wide-azimuth seismic data from 50 Outer Continental Shelf blocks in the Green Canyon area of the Gulf of Mexico. The dataset, authored by Huyen Bui of Schlumberger, incorporates four subsalt wells and four interpreted horizons for a poststack inversion method to predict reservoir properties in Miocene and Wilcox formations. Results were validated with a blind test well.
Yukon Energy Corporation primary distribution lines depict lower-voltage electrical power lines connecting substations to consumers. The dataset is provided by YEC and is updated when new primary distribution lines are constructed.
Abubakar Sadiq Isah of the Federal University of Technology Minna published a paper comparing HINT software and nonlinear programming for pinch analysis. The study calculated a minimum total annual cost of $4.88 million/yr for a crude distillation unit's heat exchanger network, with specific hot and cold utility requirements. The HINT package's solution was within 1 percent of an existing solution for minimum area target.
Geomatics Yukon created this point address layer to meet Next Generation 9-1-1 (NG 9-1-1) data standards for site structures. The data is based on a polygon-based parcel address layer linked with legal survey parcels and is updated monthly or bimonthly, with a target for a complete civic address database by the end of 2024.
A dataset from figshare containing results from generative machine-learning-accelerated excited-state calculations for large systems. The data, authored by Xiang-Yang Liu and updated in April 2026, includes benchmarks on carbon nanotube models up to 1114 atoms and applications to silicon quantum dots, black phosphorus, and rubrene clusters. The dataset is 326.5 KB in size and consists of XYZ files.
Revised spin-square data for the phenyl radical and corrected equations for the ADC(2) one- and two-particle density matrix are provided in a 235.7 KB PDF. The document, authored by Terrence Stahl, was last updated on May 22, 2026. This supplemental material likely contains methodological corrections for computational chemistry calculations.
Shelf Sea Biogeochemistry - Celtic Deep 2 SmartBuoy data consists of biogeochemical sensor measurements from a moored SmartBuoy. The buoy, first deployed in 2009 and maintained from 2014 under the SSB programme, collected near real-time data on temperature, salinity, dissolved oxygen, chlorophyll fluorescence, turbidity, and photosynthetic active radiation. The programme was co-funded by the UK's Natural Environment Research Council and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs.
Provisional experimental statistics detail the numbers and types of General Practitioners working in England for December 2016. The data is broken down by NHS England Regions, Local Offices, Clinical Commissioning Groups, and individual practices. Cambridgeshire Insight published this snapshot as part of a series on the NHS workforce.
A digital elevation grid for Australia derived from processed SRTM surface elevation data. The grid has a cell size of 0.00417 degrees (approximately 435 meters) and vertically integrates ground, airborne, and marine data from satellite altimetry. It was generated for the 2019 Australian National Gravity Grids B series under project No. 202008.
Nine tourism regions define Yukon's geography for tracking wilderness tourism statistics. The dataset is maintained by the Government of Yukon and was last updated in March 2026. It provides official boundaries for regional analysis.
A global, daily, and spatially seamless daytime and nighttime FY-3D Land Surface Temperature (LST) dataset generated by Yanling You using the OESTR model. The dataset covers the period from 30 April 2019 to 31 December 2025 and is hosted on figshare. It was last updated on 9 April 2026.
The National Gravity Compilation 2019 Ausdrape elevation ellipsoid grid records terrain heights relative to the GRS80 ellipsoid. The grid has a cell size of 0.00417 degrees (approximately 435m) and integrates ground, airborne, and marine data vertically continued to a drape surface. Australian Ocean Data Network published this data, last updated in May 2026.
The ALTUS Cloud Electrification Study (ACES) dataset consists of high-frequency atmospheric measurements collected by a NASA UAV during August 2002. The uninhabited aerial vehicle ALTUS carried instruments including field mills, optical sensors, and a conductivity probe to collect data from above thunderstorms over southwestern Florida. Data collection was triggered by operator-selected events and recorded at 200KHz from the first 16 telemetry items on the aircraft.
Dave Mangindaan compiled metadata for 1563 academic publications indexed in Scopus, accessed on 3 March 2026. The publications contain the term "biophilic" in their title, keywords, or abstract. The dataset includes VOSViewer mapping files for keyword co-occurrence analysis.
August 2002 data collected by NASA's ALTUS uninhabited aerial vehicle (UAV) over thunderstorms in southwestern Florida. The dataset consists of sensor readings at 50Hz from seven instruments, including electric field mills, optical sensors, and magnetometers, gathered from above storms during their lifecycle. This experiment aimed to safely gather weather data and test new aircraft technology.
