VNP19A2 Version 2 is a NASA/NOAA Suomi NPP satellite data product providing daily global land aerosol optical depth (AOD) at a 750-meter pixel resolution. The product includes layers for AOD, uncertainty, quality assurance, smoke plume injection height, and various atmospheric and view geometry parameters. It is produced by LPCLOUD using the VIIRS instrument and the MAIAC atmospheric correction algorithm.
Global daily land surface reflectance data from the NOAA-20 VIIRS instrument, corrected for atmospheric gases and aerosols using the MAIAC algorithm. The product provides surface spectral reflectance estimates at 375 meter and 750 meter pixel resolutions using a Rotated Sinusoidal projection. Variables include surface reflectance, solar and view geometry angles, and RTLS model kernels for bands M1-M5, M7, M8, M10, M11, and I1-I3.
Global daily satellite measurements of land aerosol optical depth and related atmospheric properties at 750-meter resolution. The VJ119A2 product is produced by NOAA-20 VIIRS using the MAIAC algorithm and provides layers for AOD, uncertainty, smoke plume height, and view geometry. Known issues include reduced accuracy at high sun angles, potential artifacts near coastlines, and an unreliable ice mask.
health.data.ny.gov provides counts of live births in New York State, stratified by mother's age range and county of residence. The dataset includes columns for County, Table, Live Births, Mother's Age Range, and Year, beginning from 2008. Data updates may differ from other Vital Statistics tables published by the New York State Department of Health.
Paper 4 presents a theoretical physics framework proposing a topological model for space-time, gravistars, and dark matter. Authored by John Greer, it serves as a precursor to the Astra 4 hardware deployment. The dataset is a 53.2 KB archive containing the paper and related materials.
Geomechanical strength data for mudstone samples from the Gunthorpe Member of the Sidmouth Mudstone Formation. Testing includes Uniaxial Compressive Strength (UCS), Indirect Tensile Strength (ITS), Triaxial strength, Point Load, and thermal loading tests conducted at the University of Leeds and the British Geological Survey. Data is separated into individual Excel files, each containing time, force, stress, displacement, and strain measurements for a single test.
A vector contour dataset models the depth in meters to the base of the Sherwood Sandstone Group in the Permo-Triassic Cheshire and Worcester basins. The data is derived from the 1995 British Geological Survey technical report WK/95/7 and the European Geothermal Atlas. It was last updated on the platform in April 2026.
A vector contour dataset models the depth in metres to the base of the Permo-Triassic rock layer in the Worcester and Cheshire basins. The data is derived from the 1995 British Geological Survey technical report WK/95/7 and the European Geothermal Atlas. It was last updated on the platform on 2026-04-09.
Cheshire and Worcester basins in the UK contain modelled thickness data in metres for Permian and lower Triassic sandstones, considered for hot sedimentary aquifer geothermal potential. The dataset is derived from the 1995 British Geological Survey technical report 'Atlas of geothermal resources in Europe: UK revision' and the European Geothermal Atlas. Isopach maps for other Permo-Triassic basins were not modelled due to limited reservoir porosity and transmissivity.
A 500-meter resolution raster model shows the theoretical recoverable heat from Upper Devonian hot sedimentary aquifers in Scotland's Midland Valley. The British Geological Survey produced this dataset, which calculates heat for temperatures above 50°C based on a USGS methodology. The research, published in 2024, presents the theoretical potential with very high uncertainty.
A 500 m x 500 m x 50 m resolution raster model shows the P50 distribution of theoretical 'heat-in-place' (HIP) for the Upper Devonian Kinnesswood Formation and Stratheden Group in Scotland's Midland Valley. The HIP calculation, based on the USGS definition, considers resource temperatures greater than 50 °C, representing the minimum for direct heat use. This model was published by Kearsey, T.I., Receveur, M. and Monaghan, A.A. in 2024 and is presented with high uncertainty.
A modelled thickness map in metres of the Sherwood Sandstone Group in the Permo-Triassic Cheshire, Worcester, Wessex and East Yorkshire-Lincolnshire basins. The dataset is derived from the 1995 British Geological Survey technical report WK/95/7 and the European Geothermal Atlas. It was last updated on the platform in April 2026.
A 1995-derived vector contour dataset models the depth in meters to the top of the Sherwood Sandstone Group in the Permo-Triassic Cheshire, Worcester, Wessex and East Yorkshire-Lincolnshire basins. The data, from the British Geological Survey, assesses hot sedimentary aquifer geothermal resource potential in these UK regions. The dataset is sourced from the 'Atlas of geothermal resources in Europe: UK revision' and the European Geothermal Atlas.
A collection of 234 sets of paired visible light and thermal infrared images for detecting unexploded ordnance. The data was gathered by JLU JRI-UXO in a single region under varying conditions including snow and tree branches. It was published in April 2026.
CAMEX-3 MACAWS V1 dataset contains airborne lidar measurements from the Third Convection and Moisture Experiment. The Global Hydrology Resource Center Distributed Active Archive Center (GHRC_DAAC) produced this data, capturing line-of-sight velocity, backscattered intensity, turbulence approximation, and complex covariance. Observations were gathered from 3 August 1998 through 22 September 1998 across the U.S., Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean, and Western Atlantic Ocean.
Percentages link verbal likelihood terms used by the IPCC for climate risk statements and the EMA for drug side-effect statements to specific numeric probabilities. The dataset is a 5.5 KB Excel file created by Tilo Meißner and uploaded to figshare in April 2026. It provides a cross-domain mapping of scientific communication language.
Global airborne measurements provide mass mixing ratios and number density for light-absorbing metallic aerosols (LAM) in the 180-1290 nm size range. Data originates from the NOAA Single Particle Soot Photometer (SP2) during four NASA Atmospheric Tomography (ATom) mission deployments. The dataset includes quantification of refractory aerosol mass, number density, and the percent of LAM mass attributed to anthropogenic iron oxides (FeOx).
