Copernicus provides 10-day time composite geospatial data of Fraction of Absorbed Photosynthetically Active Radiation (FAPAR) anomalies for Afghanistan. These records are derived from the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) to monitor vegetation health and detect agricultural drought impacts. The data is delivered as GEOTIFF files representing biophysical values ranging from 0 to 1.
Data is provided in GEOTIFF format; users require GIS software or raster processing libraries such as GDAL, Rasterio, or QGIS to visualize and analyze the files. Licensed under CC-BY.
