This geospatial collection provides 10-day composite FAPAR (Fraction of Absorbed Photosynthetically Active Radiation) anomalies for Algeria, produced by Copernicus using VIIRS sensor data. The records measure vegetation greenness and health on a scale of 0 to 1 to identify agricultural drought impacts. The data is current through March 2026.
Data is provided in GeoTIFF format and requires GIS software such as QGIS or ArcGIS, or programming libraries like GDAL and Rasterio for processing.
