Copernicus provides these 10-day time composite Fraction of Absorbed Photosynthetically Active Radiation (FAPAR) anomalies for American Samoa to monitor vegetation health. The data is derived from the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) and measures biophysical absorption on a scale from 0 to 1.
