Capricorn and Northern Tasman Basins: Marine Seismic Survey Data

Southeast Queensland's offshore basins were surveyed in December 1989 by the Bureau of Mineral Resources. The research cruise acquired 2900 km of multi-channel seismic reflection data, along with sonobuoy refraction, gravity, magnetic, and bathymetric data. It was the first such survey in the region since 1974 and ties to the Aquarius-1 and Capricorn-1A wells.
