Path Dependent Battery Degradation: NCA 18650 Cell Aging Under Combined Loads
Twelve commercially available lithium-ion 18650 cells with nickel cobalt aluminium oxide (NCA) positive electrodes and graphite negative electrodes were subjected to combined load profiles to study path-dependent degradation. The dataset contains data from four experimental groups, each with three cells, where fixed periods of calendar aging and constant current constant voltage (CCCV) cycling were applied in different orders and durations. It includes data from the combined load profiles, reference performance tests, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy measurements.
