A source of 10-day time composite geospatial rasters of Fraction of Absorbed Photosynthetically Active Radiation (FAPAR) anomalies for the Cocos (Keeling) Islands. Produced by Copernicus using Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) sensor data, the records track vegetation health through March 2026. The data measures biophysical absorption on a dimensionless scale from 0 to 1 to identify agricultural drought impacts.
Users require GIS software or libraries such as GDAL or rasterio to process the GEOTIFF files. The data is released under a CC-BY license.
