A source of 10-day time composite geospatial imagery of Fraction of Absorbed Photosynthetically Active Radiation (FAPAR) anomalies for the Congo, produced by Copernicus. Derived from Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) sensors, the data monitors vegetation health and agricultural drought impacts through March 2026. The records are delivered as dimensionless values ranging from 0 to 1 to indicate absorption levels.
Users must have GIS software (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS) or GDAL libraries to process the GEOTIFF format. The data is released under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) license.
