This geospatial dataset provides 10-day composite Fraction of Absorbed Photosynthetically Active Radiation (FAPAR) anomalies for Costa Rica, derived from Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) sensors. Produced by Copernicus and updated through March 2026, the data measures vegetation greenness and health on a scale of 0 to 1. The records are designed to detect and monitor the impacts of agricultural drought on regional productivity.
Data is provided in GEOTIFF format and requires specialized geospatial software such as QGIS or ArcGIS for visualization. Licensed under Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY).
