The COVADIS data standard for risk prevention plans includes technical specifications for digital storage of geographical data. The PPR tool is part of the French Law of 22 July 1987 on civil security and major risk prevention. Development of a Risk Prevention Plan (RPP) is the responsibility of the French State and is decided by the Prefect.
