Aluminum Alloy 6061-T6 Stress-Strain Curves Under Rapid Heating

Compression experiments on aluminum alloy 6061-T6 provide mechanical data including strain, stress, and strain rate curves. The data covers strain rates between 2400 1/s and 2700 1/s and initial temperatures from 23 °C to 527 °C. The National Institute of Standards and Technology generated this dataset using the pulse-heated Kolsky Bar method.
