Data from 2023 sand column experiments and modeling investigate the effect of hydrophobicity on fluorescent carbon nanoparticle transport. The dataset includes outlet concentration measurements for nanoparticles synthesized at four pyrolysis temperatures and tested across three sand types under saturated and unsaturated conditions. Daniel May of Stanford University authored the accompanying paper, which includes results from inert tracer tests and three transport models.
Data is split across multiple Excel and zip files; specific tools for opening these formats may be required.
