Copernicus provides 10-day composite FAPAR anomaly data for Eritrea derived from the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS). This geospatial dataset measures the fraction of absorbed photosynthetically active radiation to monitor vegetation health and agricultural drought impacts. The data is current as of March 2026 and is delivered in GEOTIFF format.
Users will need GIS tools such as QGIS, ArcGIS, or GDAL-supported libraries to handle the GEOTIFF format. The data is released under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) license.
