GPM Ground Validation: Wind Speed and Direction Data from UConn Field Campaigns

Wind speed and direction data collected by R.M. Young Marine Anemometers during two GPM Ground Validation Field Campaigns at the University of Connecticut. The dataset provides observations from the D3R site from December 07, 2022 to April 19, 2023, and from the GAIL site from December 01, 2023 to May 21, 2024. The data were collected by NASA to support validation of ground-based and satellite remote sensing observations of wintry precipitation.
