Alberto Orozco‐Caballero from the University of Manchester created a dataset of high-resolution digital image correlation (HRDIC) measurements on a nickel superalloy. It contains full-field in-plane displacement and shear strain maps from 7 image mosaics, covering a 950x420 micron area before and after 6 tensile deformation steps at 450°C. The data was generated using a FEI Magellan HR 400L FE-SEM and correlated with LaVision's DaVis 8.3 software.
Data is provided as Python dictionaries saved as NumPy arrays; code for reading and visualization is available via a linked Zenodo repository.
