Copernicus provides 10-day composite geospatial data of FAPAR anomalies across India derived from the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS). These records measure the fraction of absorbed photosynthetically active radiation to monitor vegetation health and detect agricultural drought impacts. The data is delivered in GEOTIFF format with values ranging from 0 to 1.
Users will need GIS software or programming libraries like GDAL, rasterio, or QGIS to process the GEOTIFF files; data is provided under a CC-BY license.
