Global data on area equipped for irrigation circa 1995, derived from administrative and geospatial sources by Doll and Siebert (2000). The dataset was aggregated from its original 5-minute latitude-longitude resolution to a 30-minute resolution. It represents a snapshot of agricultural water infrastructure for the World Water Development II project.
