Joshua Berlinski's dataset comprises microscope images of matching fracture surface pairs from various ceramics, exported as grayscale height data in CSV format. The 18.4 GB collection includes three sets: ceramic plates, porcelain plates, and a broken mug handle, along with reference pictures. It was created as a case study for a fracture matching algorithm to determine if two surfaces originated from a single sample.
Data is packaged in a ZIP file; users must handle 18.4 GB download and extraction.
