A source of 10-day time composite geospatial records of Fraction of Absorbed Photosynthetically Active Radiation (FAPAR) anomalies for Niger, produced by Copernicus. Derived from Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) sensors, the data monitors vegetation health and agricultural drought impacts through March 2026. The values are delivered as dimensionless quantities ranging from 0 to 1 to represent photosynthetic absorption levels.
Data is provided in GeoTIFF format and requires specialized GIS software such as QGIS or ArcGIS, or programming libraries like GDAL and Rasterio, for analysis. Licensed under CC-BY.
