Copernicus provides this geospatial dataset containing 10-day time composites of FAPAR anomalies for the Northern Mariana Islands. Derived from Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) sensors, the data measures vegetation greenness and health to monitor agricultural drought impacts. The records are updated through March 2026 and utilize a standardized biophysical scale from 0 to 1.
Users will need GIS software such as QGIS or ArcGIS, or programming libraries like GDAL or Rasterio, to process the GEOTIFF files. The data is licensed under CC-BY.
