A 2026 simulation dataset from figshare by Sainadh Singh Kshatri models the reliability of a 3 kW grid-connected photovoltaic inverter. It compares the B10 lifetime—the time by which 10% of units are expected to fail—for inverters using conventional IGBT, super junction MOSFET, silicon carbide MOSFET, and gallium nitride HEMT technologies under a one-minute resolution yearly mission profile for Narsapur, India. The Monte Carlo simulation produced 10,000 samples with 5% parameter variation to model lifetime using a two-parameter Weibull distribution.
