11 stations of underwater video footage and 12-megapixel still images were collected in the Petrel Sub-basin during May 2012. The survey was a collaboration between the Australian Institute of Marine Science and Geoscience Australia under the National Low Emission Coal Initiative. Its purpose was to acquire biophysical data in shallow seabed environments to investigate CO2 storage potential.
