14 PET hydrolases were evaluated using a high-throughput fluorescence assay to screen for plastic-degrading activity. The dataset, published by Anton A. Stepnov on figshare in 2026, contains results from testing rhodamine 6G-doped PET, polyethylene, and nylon substrates. Fluorescence data from enzymatic depolymerization correlated with quantitative chromatographic analysis of degradation products.
