SDO/AIA: Solar Dynamics Observatory 1700 Å Continuum Images

The Atmospheric Imaging Assembly (AIA) onboard NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory captures images of the Sun's atmosphere. AIA provides a view of the entire Sun in 4k x 4k resolution with a pixel size of 0.6 arcseconds. The 1700 Å channel specifically observes the continuum from the 4500 K photosphere.
