SDO/AIA 171 Angstrom: Solar Corona Imagery

The Atmospheric Imaging Assembly (AIA) onboard NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) captures images of the Sun's corona and upper transition region at 0.63 MK in the 171 Å channel. It provides full-disk solar imagery at 4k x 4k resolution with a pixel size of 0.6 arcseconds, at a cadence of 12 seconds for EUV channels. The data is produced by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration.
