SDO/AIA 304 Å Solar Imagery: Chromosphere and Transition Region

The Atmospheric Imaging Assembly (AIA) onboard NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory captures images of the Sun's chromosphere and transition region at 304 Å wavelength. It provides a 4k x 4k resolution view of the entire Sun with a temporal cadence of 12 seconds in seven EUV band passes. The data is stored in FITS format and supports the Living With a Star program's research on space weather.
