PLU/POS: French Municipal Land Use and Planning Documents

COVADIS data standard provides a technical framework for dematerialising local planning documents into a spatial database. The standard was developed based on CNIG specifications updated in 2012 and the consolidated urban planning code from March 2012. It defines how to structure and store graphic zoning plans, superimposed requirements, and regulations for each area type in a GIS-interoperable format.
