Copernicus provides 10-day composite FAPAR anomaly data for Svalbard and Jan Mayen Islands derived from VIIRS satellite imagery. This geospatial dataset measures vegetation health and greenness via light absorption ratios ranging from 0 to 1 to monitor agricultural drought impacts. The records are updated as recently as March 2026.
Data is provided in GEOTIFF format; users will need GIS software or libraries like GDAL or Rasterio to process the imagery. The license is CC-BY.
