Algae and Cyanobacteria Taxa Distribution from Granite Harbour Antarctic Habitats

Over 190 samples were examined microscopically from the complete range of algal habitats at Granite Harbour. Cultures of several new records of Cyanobacteria (Genera: Borzia, Komvophoron, Hormoscilla) and other Oscillatoriales were attempted as part of a descriptive study by SCIOPS. The data provides a baseline description of taxon distribution across habitats at Cape Geology/Botany Bay, collected for laboratory experimentation on environmental parameters.
