UKCP09 time series data tracks the annual length of the growing season across the United Kingdom. The dataset was created with financial support from the UK's Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) and is promoted by the UK Climate Impacts Programme. The growing season is defined as the period bounded by daily mean temperatures exceeding 5°C for more than five consecutive days and falling below 5°C for more than five consecutive days after July 1.
