England is mapped at a 3-meter resolution into 72 land cover categories aligned with the UK Habitat Classification framework. The map was produced by the Environmental Information Data Centre using a 12-month time series of PlanetScope satellite imagery and contextual datasets. The dataset is embargoed until August 3, 2026, with a last recorded update on July 23, 2026.
GBRMPA's dataset contains coastal features within and adjacent to the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area, including the Queensland mainland coastline, coral reef structures, islands, rocks, and cays. It corresponds to the zoning within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park effective 1st July 2004, derived from the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Zoning Plan 2003. The data is provided as shapefiles with a nominal scale of 1:250,000.
FLUXNET's Marconi Flux Data Collection contains standardized, gap-filled measurements of carbon dioxide, water vapor, and energy exchange from 38 forest, grassland, and crop sites. The dataset compiles 97 site-years of half-hourly flux and meteorology data, primarily from 1996 to 1998, with some records from 1992-1995 and 1999-2000. 231 GB of raw scientific split-beam echosounder data from the RV Investigator voyage IN2026_V01, collected between January 02 and February 25, 2026. The data, stored in 2,435 files by CSIRO, includes continuous acoustic backscatter readings at frequencies of 18, 38, 70, 120, 200, and 333 kHz to a maximum range of 4,500 meters around Antarctica. No post-processing has been conducted on this data.
Magnetometer data collected from the RV Investigator voyage IN2026_V01, titled 'Cook Ice Ecosystems and Sediments (COOKIES).' The voyage took place between January 02, 2026 and February 25, 2026, departing from and returning to Hobart. A SeaSPY2 magnetometer with high sensitivity and resolution was towed 300 meters astern of the ship.
RV Investigator voyage IN2026_V01 collected 863 MB of raw gravity data over 55 days in early 2026. The data were gathered using a MicroG Lacoste Air-Sea II gravity meter during the Cook Ice Ecosystems and Sediments (COOKIES) expedition, departing from and returning to Hobart. No processing has been conducted on this dataset, which is stored in .ENV and .DAT files at CSIRO.
Geoscience Australia data examines relationships between seabed geomorphology and benthic habitat distribution in Esperance Bay, part of the Recherche Archipelago. 395 seabed samples and seven environmental variables underpin a 10-meter resolution raster grid predicting sand content for Darwin and Bynoe Harbours. Two 32-bit geotiff files of backscatter mosaics for Money Shoal and Pillar Bank areas in the Arafura Sea, collected from November 2 to 15, 2020. The data was acquired by Geoscience Australia and the Australian Institute of Marine Science using an EM2040C Dual Head multibeam system and processed with specialized software. This survey builds baseline information for benthic habitats to support a 10-year environmental monitoring plan (2018-2028) for the North Marine Park Network.
