AUV-Gavia collected seafloor imagery and environmental data at 9 sites in the Gippsland Basin from March 27 to April 3, 2015. The dataset includes geotiffs, Go-Pro videos, optical backscatter, ADCP data, interferometric bathymetry, and shapefiles. It was created by Geoscience Australia as part of the Gippsland Marine Environmental Monitoring project to establish a baseline before a seismic survey.
Doubled haploid lines derived from base populations with contrasting breeding characteristics are analyzed for genotype clustering based on grain yield (GY). The dataset contains the number and percentage of genotypes assigned to each genetic cluster. It is a 9.5 KB Excel file authored by Goshime Muluneh Mekasha and last updated on June 3, 2026.
Between 2008 and 2009, Geoscience Australia conducted multiple surveys in Jervis Bay, NSW, to trial new equipment and characterize benthic habitats. Two video surveys in June and August 2008 captured footage along 10 transects totaling 42 km in water depths of 5-30 meters. A drop-camera survey in November 2009 collected still photographs at 24 stations throughout the bay.
2000 to 2020 population density estimates are provided as global raster data. The data is derived from national censuses and registers, using a proportional allocation algorithm across approximately 13.5 million administrative units. Rasters are available at multiple resolutions, from 30 arc-seconds (~1 km) up to 1 degree, to support different processing needs.

Palaeogeographic reconstructions characterize the Early Cretaceous Gage Sandstone and South Perth Shale reservoir-seal pair in the Vlaming Sub-basin. The dataset integrates 2D seismic interpretation, well log analysis, and biostratigraphic data to map sediment supply and sea-level changes. It is hosted by the Australian Ocean Data Network and was last updated in 2026.
Leicester City Council provides annual data on the gender pay gap for its employees, excluding those based in schools. The dataset covers all permanent, temporary, and casual staff employed at the end of a pay period, with pay gaps calculated using men's pay as the divisor. Eleven gravity cores from the west, south, and east Australian continental margin provide down-core measurements of magnetic susceptibility, percent calcium carbonate, and major/trace element geochemistry. Oxygen isotope data from planktonic foraminifera in western margin cores provide chronological control for the Late Quaternary, identifying stages like the Last Glacial Maximum and Last Interglacial. The dataset documents regional variations in sediment composition and magnetic properties across key geological terraces including the Exmouth Plateau and offshore Evans Head.
