A pot experiment investigated how warming modifies maize growth and resource-use efficiency when combined with drought or salinity. The study measured plant growth, water- and nitrogen-use efficiency, 15N fertilizer recovery, and Δ13C discrimination under three air temperature regimes and three water regimes. Findings show warming amplified the detrimental impacts of both drought and salinity on plant performance, sometimes resulting in non-additive responses.
Uncropped Western blot and photomicrograph images supporting a 2026 research article on vascular smooth muscle cells. The dataset includes 11.8 MB of PDF and XLSX files uploaded by Xuejun Wang to figshare. It is licensed under CC-BY-4.0 for open reuse.
Early 1994 to early 1995 is the primary period for this dataset of diurnal stem and soil temperature measurements. The BOREAS RSS-17 team collected the data using thermistors implanted in tree trunks and at various soil depths at five BOREAS flux tower sites. Measurements were logged at intervals of one or two hours to support research on environmental and phenological states.
Guatemalan maize was used in a controlled lab study to evaluate local nixtamalization practices. The dataset likely contains measurements of aflatoxin B1 concentration reduction, mineral content changes, and untargeted metabolomics results from nine processing conditions. Hannah Glesener authored this dataset, which was last updated on April 23, 2026.
Fourteen controlled murine studies quantify the effects of the flavonoid dihydromyricetin on diet-induced liver disease. Dachuan Jin compiled this systematic review and meta-analysis, registered with PROSPERO and last updated in April 2026. The analysis pools data on outcomes like hepatic triglycerides, liver enzymes, and inflammatory markers from studies published up to December 2025.
Quebec Tourism Information System data lists agrotourism businesses and local product producers, including sugar shacks, vineyards, and distilleries. This overview of the tourist offer covers companies offering activities related to their production methods. The dataset is not a complete census of all businesses.
8.0% was the weighted prevalence of global acute malnutrition in the Dadaab refugee complex in 2018, falling within the 'poor' category. The UNHCR Standardized Expanded Nutrition Survey (SENS) was conducted between 20 August and 8 September 2018 across three camps to assess malnutrition, anaemia, infant feeding, water, and sanitation. The survey provides data for an estimated population of 208,000 registered refugees, primarily from Somalia.
Supplementary tables from the manuscript "Identification of a large class of cancer–germline microproteins as a source of immunotherapeutic targets" by Camarena ME. et al. The 1.7 MB Excel file contains all data generated throughout the analysis and information on the datasets used in the publication.
A computer vision dataset for precision livestock farming, created by Zhang Yuqi and last updated in April 2026. It contains 29,061 total images from two sub-datasets: BECA-D for visual diversity with 16,889 images from 5,661 cattle, and BECA-L for long-term recognition with 12,172 images from 103 cattle tracked over up to five months.
30-meter resolution cropland extent data for the nominal year 2015 is validated using a 90-meter resampled accuracy assessment. The GFSAD30VAL product provides independent validation samples for seven global regions, supporting agricultural and water sustainability research. Each validation shapefile contains sample locations, cropland presence labels, and randomly selected assessment zones.
Modeled density distributions for threatened elkhorn corals (Acropora palmata) in shallow waters off St. Thomas, St. John, and St. Croix. Predictions for 2013, 2014, 2015, 2035, and 2055 were generated using process-based random forest and dynamic range models to inform restoration plans. The dataset is produced by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.
The unglaciated Klondike Plateau in west-central Yukon is the focus of this dataset. It contains property-scale (1:20,000) surficial geology mapping identifying 12 landform-soil types (LSTs) to support soil geochemical sampling for mineral exploration. The dataset was published by the Government of Yukon and last updated in April 2026.
Historical contact information for farm advisors approved under the Growing Forward 2 program in Ontario. The list includes advisor names, locations, phone numbers, emails, websites, years of experience, and areas of specialization. It was compiled by the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness but is no longer actively maintained.
Government of Ontario data provides average net operating income for farms by region and county. The dataset includes total gross farm receipts, operating expenses, and derived ratios like operating expenses as a percentage of receipts. Data is compiled by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness in cooperation with Statistics Canada and was last updated on 2026-04-17.
Trends in Timber Harvesting in BC contains results for an environmental indicator published by Environmental Reporting BC. The dataset illustrates annual timber harvest volumes and compares them to the Allowable Annual Cut (AAC), derived from the Timber Supply Review process and the Harvest Billing System. Data is summarized at a high level and cannot be traced back to specific harvest areas or tenures.
Zambia is the geographic scope for this dataset of plot-level maize and common bean yields from on-farm trials. It was generated by the Guiding Acid Soil Management Investments in Africa (GAIA) project, with data collected in the first year after trial establishment. The dataset includes yield measurements from 15 farms testing four lime application rates each.
24,015 high-resolution images of sugarcane pests were collected from fields in the Vellore district of Tamil Nadu, India. The dataset consists of four classes: Deadheart (9,782 images), Larva (7,554 images), Tillers (3,790 images), and Borehole (2,889 images). Images were captured under diverse field conditions using Android smartphones and validated by sugarcane experts to support research in agricultural AI and pest management.
