1-km resolution predictions of PM2.5 concentrations across the contiguous United States from 2000 to 2016. An ensemble model combining neural network, random forest, and gradient boosting methods achieved cross-validated R-squared values of 0.86 for daily and 0.89 for annual predictions. The data integrates satellite observations, meteorological variables, land-use data, and chemical transport model outputs.
Lord Howe Island's shallow shelf and the flanks of its submarine volcano were surveyed in April 2008 aboard the RV Southern Surveyor. The data were collected by the University of Wollongong and Geoscience Australia to map seabed morphology and benthic environments. From November 30 to December 22, 2015, the RV Investigator collected continuous underway data during the Great Australian Bight Deep Water Pelagic and Benthic Ecosystem Study voyage between Port Lincoln and Fremantle. The dataset consists of three core data streams: navigation (GPS, speed, heading), thermosalinograph (water salinity, temperature, fluorescence, pCO2), and atmospheric measurements (wind, humidity, radiation, air temperature, trace gases). Daily global Nadir BRDF-Adjusted Reflectance (NBAR) data for the VIIRS M8 band (1.240 μm) is produced using a 16-day temporal composite at a 30 arc-second (1,000 meter) resolution.
