Oscar Douglas Skelton, a prime architect of early Canadian foreign policy, is honored by this lecture series inaugurated in 1991. Global Affairs Canada's Open Insights Hub coordinates the series, which features distinguished speakers examining topics related to Canada's foreign policy, international development, and trade. The specific lecture 'Lessons from History? The Paris Peace Conference of 1919' is available in HTML format under the OGL-CA-2.0 license.
30 genome-wide significant loci and 64 prioritized candidate genes from a GWAS meta-analysis of 7,551 ankylosing spondylitis cases and 1,258,581 controls. The dataset, created by Fanyu Meng and last updated in June 2026, integrates results from causal transcriptome-wide association studies, fine-mapping, and in-silico perturbation analyses. It includes cross-trait genetic correlation results and functional validation data from siRNA knockdown experiments.
Leeds City Council UTMC previously collected live car park occupancy data. The data collection has been decommissioned at many sites due to cost-saving measures, and an alternative collection method is under review. The dataset is licensed under OGL-UK-3.0 and was last updated on 2026-07-08.
Lincolnshire County Council provides a dataset listing registration offices in Lincolnshire. The data includes each office's location, address, contact details, booking information, and other venue-specific features. It is sourced from the council's website and incorporates additional data from Ordnance Survey.
A 4.9 KB dataset from 2026 by independent systems architect Jamie Davis. It contains the low-level configuration files needed to compile and run the Davis Logic V2 architecture on ARM Cortex-M or RISC-V microcontrollers. The setup enforces a static memory footprint to eliminate runtime memory faults for critical applications.
Australia's marine jurisdiction covers over 10 million square kilometres, with less than 25% of its seafloor mapped at high-resolution. The AusSeabed program, a consortium facilitated by Geoscience Australia, coordinates national seabed mapping efforts to reduce duplication and improve data consistency. It focuses on developing a cloud-based data sharing infrastructure and common mapping tools.
Sequence files for a Metagenome Assembled Genome from human metagenomes and 5 reference genomes of Segmented Filamentous Bacteria (SFB) from mouse, rat, and turkey hosts. The dataset includes 8 archives containing genome annotations, quality assessments, taxonomic classifications, and read abundance data from 825 samples. It was authored by John Sundh of Stockholm University.
A statistical analysis of 30 aircraft of differing dimensions provides average tail lever arm percentages relative to fuselage length. The project, authored by Jascha McDavid from Universität Hamburg, graphically analyzed three-view drawings to find these values, with a reported average deviation of about 1% from exact data for a small validation subset. It further calculates and discusses tail volume coefficients using the graphically determined values.
From 29 January to 24 March 2021, the RV Investigator voyage IN2021_V01 collected environmental DNA (eDNA) and video footage in the East Antarctic Southern Ocean. The dataset includes 110 eDNA samples and video observations targeting Southern Ocean krill species. Data were collected by the Marine National Facility as part of the TEMPO survey.
Experimental results from a study comparing the performance of Big Data clusters for variant calling data retrieval. The data includes query execution times for different storage formats (VCF and Apache Parquet), input sizes (104 and 1144 individuals), cluster sizes (2 to 150 executor nodes), and HDFS replication factors (3, 5, 7, 9). The dataset was produced by Katerina Boufea at Wageningen University & Research and accompanies the paper 'Managing Variant Calling Datasets The Big Data Way'.
Experimental data from a study extracting oleuropein from olive leaves using hydroalcoholic solvents. The work was conducted by Carolina Fernanda Sengling Cebin Coppa at Universidade de São Paulo. The highest oleuropein content found was approximately 18 g per 100 g of freeze-dried extract.
Public Services and Procurement Canada documents outlining strategies and reviews for stabilizing pay and transforming human resources and pay services within the Government of Canada. The dataset, last updated in July 2026, contains documents in PPTX and DOCX formats, licensed under OGL-CA-2.0. It focuses on change management as a critical component for improving pay accuracy and supporting employees during transition.
Public Services and Procurement Canada provides documents from the Deputy Minister Sponsoring Group, a governance body for the Government of Canada's Enterprise Integrated Strategy on HR and Pay. The dataset includes meeting materials from 2026, such as PPTX and DOCX files, released under the OGL-CA-2.0 license. The Sponsoring Group meets every two weeks to provide decision-making authority for the strategy.
Hard X-ray microtomography datasets of a single mouse brain at different stages of tissue processing, from formalin fixation to paraffin embedding. The three-dimensional datasets have a voxel length of 9.3 microns and were imaged at the ANATOMIX Beamline of Synchrotron SOLEIL in France. These datasets, provided by Griffin Rodgers of the University of Basel, were the basis for two papers published in the Journal of Neuroscience Methods in 2021.
1999-2014 data from Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh, sourced from the Indian Ministry of Agriculture via the National Informatics Centre. The dataset was used by Gutierrez et al. (2023) to analyze relationships between cotton yields, agricultural inputs, monsoon rainfall, and farmer suicides. It is provided as an XLSX worksheet by Andrew Paul Gutierrez of the University of California, Berkeley.
A study by Mitchell J. Feldmann of UC Davis demonstrates Genotyping-By-Sequencing (GBS) for variant discovery in octoploid strawberry. The dataset includes variant call format (VCF) files from two restriction enzyme combinations, PstI-MseI and HindIII-MseI, sequenced on an Illumina HiSeq 4000. The HindIII-MseI protocol discovered 491,811 variants, 2.5-fold more than the PstI-MseI protocol's 199,486 variants.
Acoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) data collected from the Marine National Facility RV Investigator voyage IN2021_V03, titled 'Integrated Marine Observing System: monitoring of East Australian Current property transports at 27 degrees South (multi-year).' AGSO Marine Survey 207 collected 4788 line km of water column geochemical 'sniffer' data from the NW Australian Margin between 21 September and 23 October 1998. The survey targeted the Northern Carnarvon Basin, offshore Canning Basin, Yampi Shelf, and Southern Bonaparte Basin to detect natural hydrocarbon seepage. Results show moderate to strong methane and ethane concentrations near the Wandoo B Platform and parts of the Yampi Shelf, with repeatability observed compared to a 1996 survey.
