Management Catchments are the geographical units for which action plans are drafted in implementing the Water Framework Directive (WFD). These Artificial Water Management catchments group canals and surface water transfers, which often cross natural catchment boundaries. The data is derived from AfA292-2 WFD River, Canal and SWT Waterbodies Cycle 2 and is provided by the Environment Agency.
Johns Hopkins University presents JHU_Msex_v1.0, a new reference genome for the insect Manduca sexta (Tobacco Hornworm moth). The 470 Mb assembly is approximately 25 times more continuous than its predecessor, with a scaffold N50 greater than 14 Mb. It includes annotations for 25,256 genes, derived from existing annotations supplemented with RNA-based data.
FAVOR Essential Database provides hundreds of functional annotation scores for all possible single-nucleotide variants and observed indels in the GRCh38/hg38 human genome build. The database, created by Hufeng Zhou, includes scores for conservation, epigenetics, protein function, and pathogenicity. These scores can be integrated with genotype data via the FAVORannotator tool to create annotated files for downstream analysis.
The BeechCOSTe52 database includes phenotypic trait measurements from individual European beech trees measured in an international network of provenance tests compiled by the COST Action E52 between 2006 and 2010. It comprises 39 trial sites and 217 provenances covering the distribution of European beech, providing individual tree measurements of height, diameter, mortality, and leaf phenology. The dataset was compiled by T. Matthew Robson of the University of Helsinki.
Twenty-three species of Orthotetacea brachiopods are described from the Permian period of Western Australia. The dataset includes descriptions of four genera—Streptorhynchus, Kiangsiella, Derbyia, and PermoTthotetes—and is hosted by the Australian Ocean Data Network. Many species are noted for their restricted range and utility in stratigraphical correlation.
A 2026-07-08 updated delivery from the North Sea Transition Authority containing a subset of wells from Ikon Science's regional Roknowledge studies. The wells are selected from West of Shetlands, Central North Sea, and Southern North Sea studies and include methodological introductions, key well evaluations, and summary findings. The dataset is published under the OGL-UK-3.0 license.
Strategic industrial locations are a series of allocations relating to the Rochdale UDP June 2006. These allocations cover planning policies on employment and the economy, including five specific policy designations such as EC/2 for Primary Employment Zones and EC/7 for Kingsway Business Park. The data is provided by Rochdale Borough Council and was last updated on the platform in July 2026.
4.7 kilometres of highway upgrade between Bangalow and St Helena in New South Wales, Australia. The design includes two grade-separated interchanges and several at-grade intersections. This environmental impact statement was published by the NSW Government.
Brisbane City Council provides a dataset of Museum of Brisbane events, including locations, dates, times, costs, and booking requirements. The data is sourced from the Trumba Calendar API, transformed into a CSV, and updated daily, with feeds limited to the next 2,000 events. The dataset is licensed under CC-BY-4.0.
Brisbane City Council's GOLD (Growing Older, Living Dangerously) events data includes locations, dates, times, costs, booking requirements, and venues. The dataset is a daily transformed extract from the Trumba Calendar API, limited to the next 2,000 events. It is published by Brisbane City Council under a CC-BY-4.0 license.
Daily-updated information on upcoming business events in Brisbane, sourced from the Trumba Calendar API. The dataset includes details on locations, dates, times, costs, booking requirements, and venues. It is published by Brisbane City Council under a CC-BY-4.0 license.
Brisbane City Hall events data includes locations, dates, times, costs, and booking requirements. The dataset is created daily from a transformed extract of the Trumba Calendar API JSON feed, limited to the next 2,000 events. It is published by the Brisbane City Council under a CC-BY-4.0 license.
11,203 high-quality SNP markers were retained from an initial set of 31,316 after stringent quality control. The dataset, created by Worknesh Gebre and last updated in May 2026, provides genome-wide coverage for tropical highland maize germplasm. It includes genotype calls and positional information for downstream genetic analyses.
The Canadian Importers Database (CID) provides summary reports and lists of companies importing goods into Canada. It is published by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada under the OGL-CA-2.0 license. The data was last updated on July 17, 2026.
Approximately 200 hours of underwater acoustic recordings collected at Casey Station, East Antarctica, between December 2018 and December 2019. The dataset includes time-frequency annotations for Antarctic blue and fin whale calls made by three independent human analysts and automated detectors. It supports a multi-observer capture-recapture analysis for bioacoustic call density estimation.
The International Seabed Geomorphology Mapping Working Group's classifier tool supports a standardized two-part seabed mapping approach. Developed by geoscience agencies from the UK, Norway, Ireland, and Australia, it assigns five levels of geomorphic classification attributes and 16 additional interpretation attributes. The tool is implemented as an Esri ArcGIS Pro Python tool and includes tutorials, a user guide, and sample data.
Australian Ocean Data Network provides a hydrogeological inventory for the Carnarvon Basin, a large sedimentary basin stretching over 1,000 km along Western Australia's coast. The dataset contains descriptive attribute information grouped into themes including location, geology, hydrogeology, groundwater, and land use. It was last updated on 2026-06 23.
Sponge larval settlement data, differential gene expression data, and microbial amplicon sequence variant data from an experiment on Phyllospongia foliascens. Larvae were exposed to six dilutions of a water accommodated fraction of partially weathered condensate oil for 24 hours. The data is associated with a 2024 research publication and raw sequencing data is available in the NCBI Sequence Read Archive.
Australian Ocean Data Network hosts data on seabed and suspended sediment composition in Torres Strait, Australia. The dataset was created to investigate links between terrigenous sediment delivery and widespread seagrass dieback. It includes sedimentological and geochemical properties, such as Cu/Al ratios, for samples near Saibai and Turnagain Islands.
A dataset from the Australian Ocean Data Network, last updated in 2026, recalibrating Triassic palynostratigraphy to the international geologic timescale.
