Data were collected through home interviews and medical records to identify protective and risk factors for falls and hip fractures. The study employed chi-square tests, Student's t-tests, and logistic regression analyses.
Christiane de Fátima Colet conducted an open cohort prospective study over 18 months with warfarin users attending public health clinics in Ijuí, Brazil. The study followed 68 patients, with 63 completing it and 5 dying, and collected data via monthly home interviews and medical record review. It reports a mean of 9.6 medications per patient, 2.91 interactions involving warfarin, and 87 bleeding episodes.
23 randomized controlled trials involving 1,384 patients with multiple sclerosis were analyzed to compare the efficacy of 8 different acupoint stimulation therapies. The study, authored by Ruiou Chen and uploaded to figshare in May 2026, used a Bayesian network meta-analysis to rank interventions on outcomes like neurological function, fatigue, and activities of daily living. Results suggest electroacupuncture combined with acupoint injection was most effective for improving neurological function and daily living scores.
23 randomized controlled trials involving 1,384 patients with multiple sclerosis were analyzed to compare eight acupoint stimulation therapies. Ruiou Chen published this supplementary document on figshare in May 2026 under a CC-BY-4.0 license. The analysis ranks interventions for improving neurological function, fatigue, and activities of daily living using Bayesian network meta-analysis.
90 parents of children with cerebral palsy in southeast Nigeria were surveyed from February to May 2021. The cross-sectional study used three validated questionnaires to measure attitudes, caregiver strain, and family needs. Data collection was powered to detect a moderate effect size with 84% statistical power.
64 patients, aged 54.9±15.4 years, were admitted between 2009 and 2019 at a tertiary academic institution. The dataset includes demographic, clinical, and laboratory data, along with cardiac magnetic resonance images and reports, collected retrospectively by Paula Chiavenato Marçal. It was used to evaluate the role of CMR in increasing etiological diagnosis for survivors of sudden cardiac death or unstable ventricular arrhythmia.
Data associated with a paper on the effect of surgical alignment and soft tissue conditions on total knee replacement performance. The dataset contains raw data for mean Anterior-Posterior displacement, Tibial Rotation, and Axial Rotation with 95% confidence intervals across alignment and soft tissue conditions, as well as mean wear rates over 2 million cycles. Helena Johnston from the University of Leeds authored the associated research paper.
A retrospective two-center cohort study from January 2021 to October 2025, comprising 787 unique patient records with diabetic kidney disease. The dataset was used to develop and internally validate a machine-learning model for identifying comorbid atrial fibrillation. The model, created by Xiaoran Li, achieved an AUC of 0.927 on the test set and was last updated in May 2026.
787 patient records from a retrospective two-center cohort study conducted between January 2021 and October 2025. The dataset was used to develop an interpretable machine-learning model for identifying comorbid atrial fibrillation in patients with diabetic kidney disease. The model was created by Xiaoran Li and is shared under a CC-BY-4.0 license.
579 adult paralytic ileus patient records from the MIMIC-IV database (2008–2022) and an external hospital cohort, used to develop a sepsis prediction model. The dataset includes seven clinical predictors identified through feature selection, such as pneumonia and red cell distribution width. It was created by Qingzhou Song and last updated on June 2, 2026.
UNICEF Data and Analytics (HQ) provides a global indicator measuring the proportion of healthcare facilities with limited hygiene services. The dataset tracks facilities where functional hand hygiene facilities are available at points of care or toilets, but not both. Last updated on 2026-07-18, it is licensed under CC-BY-3.0-IGO.
A retrospective cohort study of 123 patients with type 2 diabetes and non-diabetic renal disease, with a median follow-up of 80 months. The dataset includes supplementary material analyzing clinicopathological profiles and prognostic factors for renal outcomes. It was authored by figshare admin karger and last updated on 2026-06-01.
Operations undertaken between October 2010 and September 2011, submitted to the National Vascular Database by December 2011. This dataset contains information on the pathway of care for patients with carotid stenosis who underwent carotid endarterectomy in English NHS trusts. It was collected by the Carotid Interventions Audit, a collaboration between the Vascular Society of Great Britain & Ireland and the Royal College of Physicians.
60 high-bleeding-risk patients were randomized between 2019 and 2020 to compare two intermittent hemodialysis techniques. The supplementary material includes results on session success rates, adequacy (KT/V), dialyzer status, costs, and nursing workload. This document dataset was authored by figshare admin karger and is licensed under CC-BY-4.0.
A systematic review and meta-analysis of 11 risk prediction models for Peristomal Moisture-associated Skin Damage (PMASD), identified from 10 studies. The work was authored by Haijia Liu and last updated on June 4, 2026. It synthesizes model performance metrics, including Area Under the Curve (AUC) values ranging from 0.812 to 0.914, and evaluates predictors like radiotherapy history and stoma type.
87 patients with advanced gastric adenocarcinoma (stages IB to IIIC) were retrospectively analyzed after undergoing subtotal or total gastrectomy with D2 lymphadenectomy. The study by Nelson Adami Andreollo assessed survival outcomes for patients who received adjuvant chemoradiotherapy under the INT 0116 protocol. 45 patients (51.7%) completed the full adjuvant treatment, while 33 (48.3%) did not start or refused it.
