OMAERUVd is a Level-3 daily global gridded dataset of aerosol properties derived from the Ozone Monitoring Instrument (OMI) on NASA's Aura satellite. It provides extinction and absorption aerosol optical depths at three ultraviolet wavelengths (355 nm, 388 nm, and 500 nm), gridded at a 1.0-degree latitude/longitude resolution. The data is produced by averaging quality-filtered pixel-level measurements from approximately 15 satellite orbits per day.
Central Australia, bounded by 22.5°S 134°E and 31.5°S 144°E, contains several stacked sedimentary basins beneath the Mesozoic Eromanga Basin. The data likely contains geological interpretations of the Warburton, Cooper, Pedirka, Galilee, Simpson, and Eromanga Basins, describing their evolution from the Proterozoic to the Cainozoic. It was published by the Australian Ocean Data Network and last updated on 2026-06-04.
April/May 1988, the BMR research vessel 'Rig Seismic' conducted a 21-day geochemical program in the Otway and Gippsland Basins. Light hydrocarbon gases (C1-C6) were measured in sediments at 342 locations on the continental shelf and upper slope. Thermogenic hydrocarbons were identified in near-surface sediments at forty-two locations.
GOES-16, -17, -18, and -19 satellites provide total lightning flash data over the Western Hemisphere from December 31, 2017 to present. The Geostationary Lightning Mapper (GLM) is the first operational geostationary optical lightning detector, capturing in-cloud, cloud-to-cloud, and cloud-to-ground flashes. Data is gridded and delivered in netCDF-4 format.

The ATP1 dataset documents the design and application of an activity-based autophagy probe for dynamically quantifying autophagic flux. The data, authored by Yaping Lu and last updated in May 2026, includes a 45.6 MB DOCX file describing the probe's development and performance in live cells and wild-type mice. The probe displays LC3-binding-triggered fluorogenic activation and autophagosome-lysosome fusion-triggered ratiometric changes.
Enhanced MODIS Airborne Simulator (eMAS) data contains calibrated, geolocated radiances from a NASA airborne spectrometer. The instrument senses across 38 spectral channels from 0.445 to 13.844 micrometers, simulating the MODIS satellite sensor from ER-2 and C-130 aircraft platforms. Its primary use is for validating satellite observations and studying atmospheric and surface properties.
The 2025 OceanXplorer field campaign collected in-situ oceanographic measurements in the Indian Ocean and eastern Atlantic Ocean to validate NASA's PACE satellite mission. Data includes ocean optical properties, phytoplankton pigments, organic carbon, community composition, and aerosol measurements. This dataset provides ground-truth observations across diverse water types, from clear ocean to turbid coastal waters.
10.2 GB of 3D timelapse images and Jupyter notebooks for analyzing myosin II protein dynamics. The dataset, authored by Rachel Lee and shared under a CC-BY-4.0 license, includes a main '3D_timelapse' folder and subsets used for generating figures. Methods are detailed in an associated 2026 bioRxiv publication.
NCAR Particle Probes OLYMPEX contains airborne measurements of cloud particle properties from the Olympic Mountains Experiment campaign. Data includes ice water content, particle concentration normalized by bin width, and total particle concentration, collected by three optical array probes on a University of North Dakota Citation aircraft. The dataset supports validation of satellite precipitation measurements from the Global Precipitation Mission.
NASA's Solar Transmissometer Aerosol Optical Thickness Data Set provides measurements of atmospheric aerosol effects across 8 wavelength bands in the visible and near-infrared spectrum. Data were collected using ground-based instruments at two stations during field campaigns in June-July 1987 and July-August 1989 as part of the FIFE study. This dataset supports atmospheric correction of remote sensing data and analysis of aerosol particle size distribution.
Transcriptomic and genetic data for the invasive rice water weevil (Lissorhoptrus oryzophilus) from seven populations in Liaoning Province, Northeast China. The dataset includes 38,410 assembled unigenes, 10,175 microsatellite markers, and genotyping results from ten polymorphic markers revealing moderate genetic diversity. Authored by Xueping Shi and last updated in May 2026, it provides a genetic framework for pest management and climate response prediction.
A retrospective cross-sectional study of 64,088 adults from Sichuan, China, investigating the relationship between cumulative heat exposure and subclinical cardiovascular injury. The research was authored by Tao Cheng and the dataset was last updated on May 7, 2026. It quantifies heat exposure using a Cumulative Excess Heat Wave Index and assesses injury via biomarkers like lipid remodeling markers, the Atherogenic Index of Plasma, and myocardial injury enzymes.
64,088 adults from Sichuan, China, participated in a retrospective cross-sectional study investigating the link between cumulative heat exposure and early cardiovascular injury. The dataset, authored by Tao Cheng and last updated in 2026, quantifies heat using a Cumulative Excess Heat Wave Index and measures subclinical injury via biomarkers like lipid remodeling markers, the Atherogenic Index of Plasma, and myocardial injury enzymes. It includes results from multivariable models and mediation analyses identifying key metabolic-inflammatory pathways.
A 2026 study by Tao Cheng presents data from a retrospective cross-sectional analysis of 64,088 adults in Sichuan, China. It investigates the dose-response relationship between cumulative heat exposure, measured by a 7-day Cumulative Excess Heat Wave Index (CEHWI), and subclinical cardiovascular injury markers. The analysis identifies the Uric Acid-to-HDL Cholesterol Ratio (UHR) as a key metabolic-inflammatory mediator.
